Kawasaki’s revolutionary off-road personal mobility vehicle offers excellent all-terrain capability, powered by four robotic legs, together with the handling and stability of Kawasaki’s motorcycles. While preserving the joy of riding, the vehicle continually monitors the rider’s movements to achieve a reassuring sense of unity between human and machine. Scale mountains, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy panoramic views. Let CORLEO unleash your “Impulse to Move” in the great outdoors.
The rear leg unit can swing up and down independently from the front leg unit, allowing it to absorb shocks during walking and running. Additionally, when climbing steps, the rider can maintain a posture that avoids looking upwards and makes it easier to check the road conditions ahead.
The rider can control the machine through weight shifts detected by steps and handlebars. By changing the length of the stirrup, the rider can maintain an optimal posture.
The four legs are equipped with hooves featuring a left-right divided structure made of rubber, a material that absorbs surface irregularities and is slip-resistant. These hooves can adapt to various terrains, including grasslands, rocky areas, and rubble fields.
Power Unit & Drive System
Equipped with a 150cc hydrogen engine for power generation. Hydrogen is supplied from a canister mounted at the rear. The generated electricity powers the drive units installed in each of the four legs.
Equipped with an instrument panel that displays hydrogen level, route to the summit, center of gravity position, and other information. At night, it supports optimal riding by projecting markers onto the road surface to indicate the path ahead.

,, Features of Kawasaki Robot Horse That Will Ride Humans in 2050. Kawasaki has just shocked the world by revealing CORLEO, a hydrogen-powered, rideable robot horse—and it’s nothing like we’ve ever seen before. Designed with four independent robotic legs and powered by clean hydrogen fuel, this futuristic machine combines AI, balance control, and real-time terrain response to create a completely new way to ride. But what really sets it apart? You don’t control it with handlebars or pedals—your body movement tells it where to go. Shift your weight, and CORLEO moves with you, offering an incredibly immersive and intuitive riding experience. Inspired by wolves, panthers, and even the design language of video games like Horizon Zero Dawn, CORLEO was built to conquer rough terrain in style. Kawasaki says it can absorb shocks better than any off-road motorcycle suspension thanks to its robotic legs, and with adjustable stirrups, you can stand or sit depending on how you want to ride. Add a heads-up display showing everything from hydrogen levels to movement stability, and you’ve got a robot that feels more like a living creature than a machine. This video takes a deep dive into CORLEO’s wild features and what it could mean for the future of mobility. From hydrogen tech and body-responsive control to Kawasaki’s growing presence in robotics with their CL industrial robots and Astorino educational bots, it’s clear this company is aiming far beyond just motorcycles. Could this be the beginning of a whole new category of personal transport? Or will it remain a concept too far ahead of its time? Watch now to find out why Kawasaki’s robot horse might just be the future of off-road adventure.”
