# In the near future, the Auxiliator Civil Liberties Foundation, as part of its ‘Digital Independence Days’ campaign, will stop using the services of American tech giants such as Facebook, Google, Microsoft, etc., in favour of domestic and European solutions.
The aim of the campaign is to encourage users to move away from American internet platforms.
‘It’s no longer just about one platform. It’s about influencing public debate, democratic processes and the rule of law in Europe.

The public authorities continue to use X, or other American platforms. But individual users, NGO  should set an example and choose European or non-American digital services.
As part of ‘Digital Independence Days,’ a coalition of public figures, digital rights organisations and European companies will encourage users to migrate from American platforms on a monthly basis.

The social network Mastodon, the search engine Ecosia and Nextcloud, a provider of cloud solutions and office suites, have joined the initiative.

Make a change – choose European products instead of American or Chinese ones.
